I opened my Internet so I can go on runescape, but it is still a problem. It is a red X in the upper left corner, but my school has the latest version of Java. The message is not in the lower left corner of the screen when loading Java applet to say ... What should I do?

Try the following:
on the Standard toolbar, click on Internet Explorer:
Tools> Internet Options> Advanced tab> Advanced Settings> Restore Apply> OK.
Then close Internet Explorer, open a new window, try the new site.
If all else fails:
Tools> Internet Options> Advanced tab> Reset> Reset> newly opened window.
The problem is only reset to reset your home page and some special tools that can be deleted. Do not lose your favorite channels, the Internet connection settings and saved passwords
